My background
For ten years I have worked with the leaders of French mid-market companies.
For ten years I have worked with the leaders of French mid-market companies. Conversation after conversation, the same pattern came back: they are expected to hold the course, absorb the shocks and launch the right cycles of innovation, without anyone ever explaining to them how their own brain decides under pressure. For the past two years a second blind spot has appeared: artificial intelligence is discussed at them from every direction, and nobody really knows how to install it without breaking the company. Those two observations are what led me to build the engagement I offer today.
A path in four chapters
École Centrale and Thales (1995 to 2000)
I graduated as an engineer from École Centrale and started my career at Thales. Four years there gave me a taste for innovation and the craft of management. That is where I acquired the engineer's grammar that still serves me today, whether to scope an AI use case or to understand how an organisation transforms. I had my head full of ideas and the ambition to make them real.
Running companies (2000 to 2017)
For twenty-five years I founded and ran several businesses, from start-up to mid-market. A few matter particularly to me. In 2004 I joined the family property development company; three years later, when it was sold, it had doubled in headcount and in revenue. In 2009 I designed innovative, environmentally sustainable senior living residences, with remote medical consultation and connected flats. In 2012 I partnered with an Olympic champion to launch a coaching venture run by elite athletes. It was in the field, not in a classroom, that I understood that a leader's performance is not only a matter of strategy, but of the ability to decide when everything is shaking.
Executive neurocoach (since 2017)
Every working life has its highs and its lows, and mine was no exception. To get back up, I understood that the mind has to be made an ally. I trained in applied neuroscience, in Ericksonian hypnosis, and in NLP with Richard Bandler in London. Since 2017 I have worked with CEOs of French mid-market companies on their strategic decisions and on their ability to hold over time. Alongside that individual work, I run sessions with leadership teams and speak regularly on applied neuroscience for leaders and on applied AI. Since 2024 I have extended the work to how artificial intelligence is actually used inside a company, because it has become a question a leader can no longer delegate.
Published author, Robert Laffont (March 2024)
I published Votre cerveau, fournisseur officiel de bonheur with Robert Laffont and Versilio, a reference work on applying neuroscience to daily life and performance. It was the occasion to put in writing what ten years of practice had taught me about the way our brain helps us decide, absorb and rebuild. The book is available in French only.
On a personal note
Beyond all this, I have been diving since the age of fourteen: I had the chance to meet Jacques Mayol, and the sea has never let go of me since. I train diving instructors for the French federation. I am also a yoga teacher, trained at the Institut Français du Yoga, and I studied acting at Cours Florent. Three disciplines that taught me the same thing from three different angles: precision of gesture under pressure.
